Who we are  

DisCovery “ A Recreational Gateway to Wellness” is a project conceived and designed by Dan Doyle and Kira A. Coopersmith. 

Daniel P. Doyle, Jr.  Is a PDGA (Professional Disc Golf Association) ranked Disc Golf player, course designer, tournament director, Disc Golf promoter, and enthusiast.  Dan is also the owner of Brakewell Steel Fabricators, Inc. in Chester New York.

Kira A. Coopersmith is an Employee Benefits Broker, with clients throughout the United States and with offices in New Paltz, N.Y. and Boston, M.A.  Kira is the founder and President of Benefits Management Group- a division of Kaycee Enterprises Inc.

Dan has wanted to expand the popularity of his sport/leisure activity in the Northeast for some time now and has recently launched a Disc Golf course design business.

Kira has been looking for a way to promote wellness to her key clients in an attempt to lower medical loss ratios and to create a healthier population in her community

DisCovery- “ A Recreational Gateway to Wellness” combines the talents and passions of these two accomplished business owners in an age, ability and agility transcendent lifelong activity, bringing Disc Golf into the mainstream with a focus on wellness.  

The project seeks to capitalize on the growing popularity and relative low cost of Disc Golf to help promote wellness in individuals of all ages, ability and skill level.  It is a true gateway activity to lifelong wellness.
